We most highly recommend Tim and his crew.  As parents of 5 young children, safety is always a concern.  However, we are especially worried for the safety of our son who has autism and does not understand what is dangerous.  At the time we met Tim, our son had begun to try to sit on the open railing at the top of a flight of stairs.  We were constantly terrified that in a moment of distraction, our son would go to the railing and be seriously hurt if he fell.

We were put in touch with Tim, who immediately took on the unique project.  He was respectful of our family and our special situation.  He and his team seemed immediately dedicated to building both a structurally solid and a visually appealing structure.  We were included in decision making every step of the way.  He chose materials which were meant to last, and appeared to be an exact match to our 60 year old house.  Their attention to detail made our new closed stairwell looks as if it has always been that way.  He could have just closed it up, but instead he added plexi glass panels which allow sunlight in while maintaining total safety. That is something I appreciate every day. The Aldgate crew worked quickly and precisely and cleaned up completely when done.  In one short day, our dangerous stairwell was perfectly safe, and totally beautiful.  Tim and his crew replaced our constant worry with total peace of mind. Tim went “above and beyond” and I would be so happy to have Aldgate construction work in our home again in the future.
